I went into Petes to look for a new dirt bike helmet. The new bell moto helmets that came out this year looked nice. I got my last Bell helmet from the Baltimore Petes location so I thought I would stop at this one on my way home from work. After walking around the store and only seeing a small selection I went to the counter to ask if that is all they had in stock. After waiting there for a minute I heard a woman yelling profanities at another employee as she walked out of the back. I asked her if what was on the wall was all they had. She said yes and asked what I was looking for. When I said "a Bell helmet" she said "Bell does not make off road helmets anymore". Knowing they still because of looking at them on my computer at work before going I said "they do I was looking at them online before I got here". Before I could even finish that sentence she looked up at me and said "THEY DONT MAKE THEM ANYMORE". Not wanting to fight with her I just walked out. They did have other helmets that might have interested me but I was not buying a single thing from them after that in counter. Woman was hefty with Curly black hair. Avoid her! I won't be going back to this location.
Went in looking to purchase a bike, had a sales guy who didn't even have knowledge about the bike I wanted. Found the one I wanted and worked out a deal to have the bike lowered, (being short). Once the bike was 'done' went to pick-up and found that the bike was only half lowered, the rear was lowered 2 inches and they neglected the front. The sales guy said, "this is how we do it". Had the mechanic come out and explain that yes, normally you lower front and rear, but the service dept didn't order complete lowering kit, sales guys said can't do it because "it changes the dynamics of the bike". Well, only lowering half does too, and now the handling is compromised. Picked up a half-assed job of a bike and took elsewhere to have the job completed. Didn't want to deal with them any longer, definitely won't go back. Spend your money where.the sales team will appreciate your business and the techs know what they're doing.
